Parking Privileges:

  • On-Campus Parking: Priority will be given to seniors, followed by juniors, based on availability. Students who apply for parking during the summer and meet the criteria set by the Oldham County Board of Education and South Oldham High School are eligible. Due to limited spaces, the google Parking Pass Application Form will create the waitlist once all parking passes are sold. Seniors on the waitlist will have priority over underclassmen when spaces become available.
  • Compliance: Students parking on campus must follow the regulations outlined in the Oldham County High School Student Vehicle Registration Form. Non-compliance may result in suspension of parking privileges.
  • Responsibility: Driving on campus is a privilege that comes with the responsibility to adhere to school procedures and regulations regarding vehicle use. By completing the driving form, both the parent/guardian and the student agree to follow state, district, and school regulations. Violations may result in suspension of driving privileges, vehicle immobilization, towing at the owner’s expense, or permanent revocation of driving privileges.
  • Questions: Direct any questions about parking permit regulations to Assistant Principal-Ben VanKlompenberg or your student’s assistant principal. Carefully read the regulations and complete the online application. Upon acceptance of parking privileges, both the student and parent/guardian must sign a physical acknowledgment of the parking regulations. The $25 permit fee is required for the permit to be issued. This permit must be displayed on your rearview mirror. Failure to properly display the permit may result in towing at the owner’s expense, vehicle immobilization with a fine, and/or revocation of parking privileges.
