Welcome students, staff and parents to the NEW South Oldham High School PTO!

The new PTO at South Oldham High School started during the summer of 2025. We have moved from an association with the National PTA and started the new PTO so that ALL funds collected stay at South Oldham High School to support our school community! This was a huge step that stops membership dues from going to the national, state, and district organizations.

The mission of the South Oldham High School Parent Teacher Organization is to foster a strong partnership between parents, teachers, staff, and the community to enhance student achievement and well-being. We are committed to supporting academic excellence, promoting school spirit, encouraging family engagement, and advocating for a safe, inclusive, and enriching environment for all students.

To help our mission, contact sohspto@gmail.com to donate or just get involved. PTO has a mailbox in front of the school (to the left of the front entrance) where donations and forms may be placed.

The PTO welcomes everyone to come to our meetings and hear about the exciting things we are doing. Our meetings are:

September 10

October 15

November 12

December 10

January 14

February 11

March 11

April 15

May 13

All meetings are at 9:15am in the SOHS conference room. Please check in at the front office to attend our meetings. During our meetings, we have the opportunity to connect with school leaders and student representatives to identify ways we can support the school community.

PTO provides 3 scholarships for SOHS Seniors seeking additional education after high school through the Oldham County Community Scholarships every year! We do numerous staff and student appreciations throughout the year, including spirit items for students (this year we are giving away pens and tattoos), giving money to various student organizations, each class was given $1000 this year, and teacher appreciation week.

PTO sells senior yard signs. All forms and money are due by March 16th. To inquire about a senior yard sign, please contact sohspto@gmail.com

The PTO also sponsors many college events throughout the year, including the regional Oldham County College Fair. Please click here for a full description of each college night event.
