Welcome students, staff, and parents!

The PTSA at South Oldham High School is excited for another year together! Our partnership is truly one of the many things that make our school a community. Whether you are new to the high school or returning for another year, we are excited to have you as part of our community.

The SOHS PTSA is committed to serving our students and staff to provide opportunities for fun, community-building, service, and recognition. The PTSA meets monthly to connect with staff and student representatives to continue to understand their needs and identify ways we may be able to help support them. Please see below for our scheduled meeting dates & times. All PTSA members are welcome to join us.

Our primary areas of focus are supporting educational efforts through programs such as College Night Events including a College Fair and a Career Fair for the district, Drug/Alcohol/Mental Health Awareness initiatives, and Summer Reading support. We focus on recognizing our students and staff efforts by sponsoring 3 Senior class scholarships, Teacher of the Year award, and the Reflections Art contest. We also like to keep things fun as well and support various social events such as teacher-appreciation meals and the end-of-year “Wooza-palooza”.

The PTSA sponsors and funds these events as well as others through our primary fundraisers – selling Senior Yard signs, signing up to register us through your Kroger rewards or general donations.

We are always interested in parent involvement! Joining the PTSA is simple and doesn’t require a heavy time commitment. If you are interested in joining, click here. If you are interested in getting involved or learning more about how you can help email KYSOHSPTSA@gmail.com

Looking forward to an amazing 2024-2025 for all SOHS students! GO DRAGONS!

Dawn Beavers, PTSA President
